I have been on loading doeage for b12 because I had b12 deficiency. My last one is on Monday then she said to me after two weeks they will send me for a blood test to check my b12 levels, is this too soon to check after loading doeage? Tia

It's on the NHS guidelines.

No idea why. I can only assume to prove it's in your blood.

I didnt have it .

It will just say over 1500 probably.

I would personally question why it's being done.

Any time is too soon. That is why the British Committee on Standards in Haematology advise against it. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi...

Print that out, highlight the section that says "No

further testing for cobalamin levels is required" on p 501 and send it to the doctor.
