B12 effecting periods
there could be any number of reasons for irregular periods - they do just happen and although it is irritating to not have certainty it isn't necessarily anything to worry about. I'd be more inclined to worry if the character of the period changed dramatically - eg spotting for a long period or much heavier than it was.
There could be a multitude of reasons but the only one that is (loosely) related to PA that I’m aware of is thyroid illness. Autoimmune diseases tend to happen in clusters and many people with PA will also have thyroid problems.
When I had an untreated overactive thyroid my periods stopped altogether.
Given your previous irregular periods I’d be consulting a gynae specialist if this continues and your thyroid is ok.
To be honest my mom has had her thyroid removed due to Graves’ disease and it can be inherited should I be worried?? And wouldn’t it of shown up on the blood tests I had to show up for my b12 and folic acid x
