I go to the gym every morning and feel my fitness has improved with the b12.also is it likely I will have another autoimmune disorder. I my p. A is caused by antibodies. Just enjoy tour health.

Try not to worry about things that haven't happened.

Early diagnosis and regular treatment should keep you well. .

Sounds like your doctor was on the ball, diagnosed early and got you onto b12 treatment which bodes well. You are doing all the right things by building your muscle and strength back up. Thats brilliant. Well done!

That’s great that you were diagnosed before damage was done. If you don’t have any symptoms now you probably won’t get any as long as you keep up with the treatment. My father was diagnosed early, like you, in the 1970’s and hasn’t had any problems since. He has not developed and other autoimmune problems, and while some people will develop multiple autoimmune diseases, most people don’t. PA is caused by antibodies that attack and destroy the parietal cells in your stomach. The parietal cells release a protein that helps your body absorb B12. Once they are destroyed your body has a hard time absorbing B12 and you become deficient. The parietal cells also are the cells that make your stomach acid.
