How long do ampules take to come from Germany?

I finally managed to order 100 hydroxocombalamin ampules from versandapo.de in Germany a couple of days ago after receiving helpful advice on how to from this forum. My question is how long do they take to arrive? I have received conformation emails from the company but they don't seem to say when I can expect to receive my order.

Thanks in advance.

I’ve never been informed by them how long it would take to deliver . I would say about 4 working days . They always use a courier .

Thank you Wedgewood, that's pretty quick then. Do they have to be signed for? Thanks.

No, I can’t remember ever having signed for them . But I was always at home when they arrived . ( retired person!) But couriers are always reliable I find . I buy 100 at a time . The €9.98 courier charge is the same no matter how many you order . 100 last me for 2 years ( weekly injection) and the use by date is always 2 1/2 years ahead if I buy 100 .

Glad you managed to order O.K.

I once bought some over the counter in Germany , and they cost more from a High Street pharmacy than they did at the online ones ! Best wishes and a Happy New Year .

Thanks Wedgewood, I'll keep an eye out for the courier. I think it's DHL.

Thanks again.😊

Be aware that they sometimes cock up the addressing, missing out the first line of the address. So that they miss out the house number or name.

So it'll be addressed to

Timmysmom

The Street

Postcode, A Town

Großbrittanien

I was OK because our DHL driver knows my name, but it might be worth contacting DHL when it's due to arrive.

I paid £52.88 for 100 ampules from Versandapo in Germany. They arrived this morning. And I paid £19.63 for all the other stuff (syringes, needles, alcohol wipes) 100 of everything, from Medi save. It took me a while to figure out how to translate the web site into English, I'm not very good with tech. But with help from this forum got there in the end.

I've not seen that site before.

The B12 you have ordered is, I believe, cyanocobalamin 1 mg in 2 mL. Most people prefer hydroxocobalamin 1 mg in 1 mL.

I normally get the Rotexmedica - arzneiprivat.de/product/vit...

They do it for just €57 for 100 ampoules, which is close to versandapo who charge €53.

It's always good to have an alternative supplier, so I've bookmarked this site. Many thanks.

Thanks everyone, my ampules arrived this morning, about 4 -5 days after ordering them. As someone warned me the first line of my address wasn't on the order but the DHL driver rang me to ask what it was. My name was on the order rather than "Timmysmum" but i think that may be because I used Amazon to pay as someone suggested. Paying with Amazon also helped with the translation at the payment part of the order I think.

I don't think I would have managed to order without help and advice from asking questions and reading other people's posts on here😊
