MMA and homocysteine normal with neurological symptoms

My initial b12 level was 230. I never had homocysteine or MMA tested initially. After two month of monthly treatment and two months of twice monthly treatment (4 month total) a hemotologist decided to test it. I am still having neurological symptoms. My b12 level came up to around 1200.

How long does it take for homocysteine and MMA to go to normal. I know neurological symptoms take longer to improve

Still trying to figure all this out !

Did any of you have normal MMA and homocysteine after treatment but still have neurological symptoms??

Yes. My MMA and hCYs were totally normal when I was tested by my neurologist.

MMA and hCys should normalise very soon after the injections have started.

The nerve damage caused by the deficiency can take years to heal.
