Day After My First Shot

Hey folks,

So one day after my first shot, I can already note at least two positive changes.

First, hyperhidrosis (uncontrollable excessive sweating) issues are absent today.

Usually when I leave the house, from the sheer efforts of putting clothes on, feeding the cats and leaving, I am usually extremely agitated, upset, and drenched. Even in cold weather.

This morning, I'm calm and dry.

Also, I had been having dry mouth issues. My mouth feels normal today.

I am really hoping to feel considerable increase in energy, even if for just a few days.

Just wanted to share, and say thanks as well because if it wasn't for this community, I wouldn't have known to advocate for myself and say, "Sublingual B12s aren't working. My quality of life is still bad. I really need the shot."

I'm on my way to my new cardiologist. My doctor said it'd be a good idea since I'm already exhibiting heart issues because of this lifelong disease. Next week I'm seeing a neurologist to assess the extent of the nerve damages done.

So very relieved for a sweat-free morning. 😄

Hi,

Glad to read you are already experiencing some improvements.

It can be a bit of a roller coaster with ups and downs though, so stay positive if symptoms fluctuate.

Hi so glad you had a good morning. I too had uncontrollable sweating in all weathers seemed to come on out of nowhere and it was mostly head sweating and I would look like I just washed my hair ! So embarrassing! I do feel better on b12 definitely but I also read that Vit d deficiency causes excessive sweating mostly of the face and head , so i do supplement although have never been tested. I don't take it all the time either, just a couple of days a week and only in winter but I have noticed an improvement. I hope you continue to improve on the shots and go from strength to strength. and that you will get plenty of support from the cardiologist and neurologist.
