Hi I was diagnosed in the beginning of August with pernicious anemia. My most persistent symptom has been weakness in my right arm. Leg pain in right leg. I also have had tingling in fingers and toes. Perhaps the weakness in right arm is because I’m right handed. Has anyone else had weakness in a limb...just one side?

I think you correct in thinking it's because you right handed. I have pin on my legs at night which is worse on the right. I've also had weakness in grip so drop things. Sometimespecially I'm absolutely fine.

I expect at some stage you will see a neurologist to test your reflexes. Ask them. Hope your treatment helping you.

Thank you for responding. As I try to navigate this condition, I’m constantly trying to figure out what’s normal.

Also, what were your levels? Are injections working for you? I heard improvements could take 6 months. Have you been told an expected time to improve?

Thank you
