Has anyone had high b6 related to low folate levels. My b6 level is 113.6 high without supplements. I was told low folate is probably the cause

not sure without range how high the B6 levels you have are but basically it is theoretically possible that high B6 could be caused by low folate though I really couldn't say how realistic a scenario that would lead to it is as it would involve dietary intake of B6 being greater than the amounts that the kidneys remove it. I honestly don't know how realistic that would be in the absence of impaired kidney function.
The good news is that although high dose supplementation of B6 over a period of a few months has resulted in neurotoxicity, there have not been any reports of dietary intake resulting in the same.
I haven't been able to find any mention of the scenario in pubmeds literature
I also came back with high B6. My result was 266 nmol/L with a reference range of 35-110. Whereas my folic acid was 22 nmol/L with a reference range of 7-46.
I think its so weird that my b6 was so high because I barely took multi-vitamins in 2019. Like maybe 15 pills and thats it.
My doctors say its nothing and are not worried.
I just realized that my melatonin has b6! So ignore my comment. Mine is high because of that!
