Yes to the anaemia but nerve damage is another story.
I’ve found that after 10 years with my regime of B12 and supplements, I’ve got most things like brain fog under control, but occasionally I have a set back so I know the repair isn’t permanent.
I’ve had permanent nerve damage to the nerves in my right hip and having the right amount of B12 along with exercise has repaired everything that is possible to repair and even developed other muscles to fill in and take on the walking function but I will still have foot fall and sway side to side while I walk.
I probably am just and bad as others my age of 61 who have never had a B12D diagnosis or treatment. I see them walk with a sway as well.
I’m never going to be in my 20s again and am probably where I would be had I never had the B12D.
Stick with what is working for you and track progress in your logbook because it occurs very slowly. You will forget about a symptom that has disappeared and only notice if it comes back. Use the logbook to look back 6 months to determine how things have changed.
