Need help getting Cyanocobalamin Injections outside of the USA

Hello,

I live in the USA, and having a difficult time finding a website to order Cyanocobalamin online. I no longer have health insurance, and I haven't had the money to keep going back to get the shots out of pocket. I was diagnosed with PA a year or so ago, but its been quite a while since I last had a dose. I researched this forum, but most of the people here are from the UK. The popular German website is too pricey. 40 USD for shipping alone is too much. I found a few websites that seemed okay, but I have no idea if they are scams. The websites I bookmarked were

- Buy-Otc.com

- canadapharmacyonline.com

- vitaminb12online.com

- b12-shot.com

They all seem to carry vials of 1000mcg of Cyanocobalamin that I need for IM injections. I just wanted to know if anyone here has had experience with any of these sites, if they are legit or not, etc. I don't know how it will work with customs here in the US. If anyone else has a place they get theirs that isn't too expensive that they use, I am all open to ideas. I am unable to drive to the Canadian border, so I have to order them online somehow. I really need these and getting worse. Any help is appreciated!

A quick question as well: Do these need to be kept in a refrigerator at all times to keep them from expiring?

I’m sure you will hear from someone in the USA who can help . But I have noticed that you can get Cynocobalamin from Sandoz in Canada . Google Sandoz Canada B12 and you will get a result . You only need to refrigerate Cynocobalamin if the temperature exceeds 25 Celsius . But it must always be kept dark . Best wishes .

Heather177 - also not from US - you may be able to source injectable cyanocobalamin intended for cosmetic rather than medical reasons. It's usually more expensive ... and I have no idea why injectable cyanocobalamin seems to be so much more expensive in the US ... so it may even end up being cheaper.

There can be problems with ordering injectable B12 from Canada if it is being supplied for medical reasons because of some treaty arrangements between Canada and the US.

Thanks for the information! I was wondering about the Canada/US laws. I will look into the cosmetic ones if it isn't too expensive. Ordering medication online from another country is 100% new territory for me, so trying to make sure I do everything right if i can!

Like you, I am in the US. I have been sourcing my B12 from Germany successfully from Bodfeld but their shipping is expensive. Mycare.de has the best shipping rate that I have found to date and many here recommend them. I haven't yet tried them as I am switching over to methylcobalamin.

Cyanocobalamin ampules:

mycare.de/en/online-kaufen/...

At the top of the website you can click on the British flag so that a lot of the information is shown in English.

Any additional information that you want to see translated can be viewed by using Google Translator (I often have to copy and paste the details to get the information translated).

It took about two weeks from the date that I placed my order from Bodfeld to when I received my package. This seems to be about the average based on the comments from others from various online forums. Customs can take anywhere from 1 to 3 days, on average.

They also have hydroxocobalamin, you would have to search for B12 Depot Rotexmedica.

If you prefer to use methylcobalamin, I just placed an order from Arnika (also in Germany) and all communication takes place via email. Once you provide shipping and order details, they provide a PayPal invoice. Haven't received my order yet, just placed it on Monday. Again, they estimate about two weeks for delivery.

I was told by the pharmacies that it is only necessary to store in the dark as light degrades the product. Some say that methylcobalamin needs to be refrigerated but the pharmacy told me that I only needed to worry about protecting it from the light.

Hope you are able to source what you are looking for.

I was looking at that website, mycare, but under international shipping zone 4 it says 40,00 € for the US, or 44 USD dollars. Unfortunately I don't think I can afford such a high rate of shipping. I know here in the US, they always prescribed Cyanocobalamin, but I was wondering what you (or anyone else) personally think about the three different versions? When I was getting the shot once a month at the doctors office, I never felt much of a difference. My numbers increased about 130 points on Cyanocobalamin. On paper, the number last showed 277, but it's been quite some time since I last had a dose. I'm not sure if one is better than the other, but the thing I struggle the most with is the fatigue. I'm so exhausted all the time!

Thank you for the information! It seems like there is a lot to know, as I never thought about ordering any medication outside of the country. Plus my anxiety is nagging me with all sorts of questions and 'what ifs'!

I have never tried cyanocobalamin as my GP didn't want me to take that version, she prefers methylcobalamin. I do best on the methylB12 but have also tried hydroxo with good health effects. For some strange reason, the hydroxo sometimes gives me a slight stomach ache so my personal preference is the methyl. Hope you do well in sourcing and that you find what works best for you!

Just remembered that I’ve seen vitaminb12online.com mentioned a few times on this forum . All comments were favourable . I think that they are in Australia .

Oh that is good! Their shipping prices don't seem too bad. I have horrible anxiety so trying to figure out the best option! Will probably end up ordering on there. I like the kits they have.
