I have had Epilepsy for over 40 years, I was pretty much controlled, then I started falling over indoors, ok I'm used to that, but this was no fit, I thought it was my balance, after a couple of blood tests, I was told I had PA, one of the doctors in the practice, not my Dr, she wouldn't bother, she sent me a really good leaflet, it explained all about PA and it said anti-convulsants, can destroy the intrinsic factor link for absorbing B12. but I had been taking anti-convulsants meds for 35 years, all ok, but when I hit 62, it all changed, it was my age with the meds that tipped me into PA. After the initial 2 weeks of injections, every 12 weeks no good, 10 weeks no good, so every 8 weeks I have an injection, the nurse I see are friends now.
