Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with vitamin b12 deficiency in September 2018 after visiting my GP with pins and needles in my arms, hands, legs and feet. Before that, I was also extremely tired and found getting through a work day to be a success. I was put on 1mg of cyanocobalamin daily which is taken orally and it has helped for the most part.
For the past few months, I've been experiencing some pain, pins and needles in my ankles. If I carry on with my normal daily activities then my muscles begin to spasm and go rock hard. This causes immense pain in my legs and makes daily activities extremely difficult. After I spend some time resting then the spams eventually subside. GP was first point of call, but they said that as my blood levels are all 'within normal range' that they won't send me to see a neurologist or any other specialist.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks for your help!
