Hi all.

I've many conditions which have a massive effect on my physical and mental health wellbeing. I'm sorry in advance if you don't see me posting /commenting much this is due to my depressive state of mind. I wish you all the best and hope life becomes a little easier on those struggling with both physical and psychological issues.

I don't know what else you are having to deal with, but B12 deficiency alone can be very difficult to understand and then try to control, since it seems to affect all areas: mental, ,physical, emotional - at least for some of us. Amazingly in others, there are barely any indications at all, despite a sometimes very low B12 serum level.

Explaining it to others is also difficult, because it affects us all differently and because symptoms can be many and varied- and change.

I try to be open and honest about what I'm feeling with everyone: at work, at home, with family and friends, and with GPs and consultants. That can make you feel quite vulnerable, but at my worst, there really is no hiding place !
