Can dryness/itchiness around the sides of the nose something common with b12 deficiency. The sides of my nose next to my nostrils can get very dry and very itchy to the point that I'll have to put vaseline on it in order to not go crazy. I'm not sure if this is b12 deficiency or another b vitamin.

I have got an unattractive peeling nose as though I've got sunburnt . I put a heavy moisturiser on at night which has really helped. A new thing along with b12 defiency. Along with the b12 acne special spots. They are less frequent now.
I would suggest that you talk to a pharmacist about it (if not a GP) - they could advise you on what they think the cause might be
- what you are describing could be a type of fungal infection - something that is quite common with B12 deficiency.
It could be a reaction to the B12 if you have injections - but I would expect that to be more wide-spread than the specific area you mention.
It could also be sensitivity to the sun - as others have suggested ... and some people do report that B12 causes problems with sensitivity to the sun though it is quite rare.
