I’ve recently had a blood test for thyroid issues and the results have come back showing elevated levels of active vitamin b12 (269pmol/L). I’ve never taken any supplements for b12 and don’t drink energy drinks. I’m unsure wether this is significantly elevated or just slightly as I haven’t seen my gp yet since receiving the results. I’ve been quite worried as when researching all I can’t find are cancers, liver and kidney problems. If anyone could help I’d really appreciate it. Thanks.

It does sound as if it is going to be significantly over the top of the normal range. If you haven't been supplementing it could be an early warning of liver/kidney problems which can result in raised B12 levels. However, it could also be down to a problem with the test. Think you probably need to discuss with your GP.
I'm not aware of a direct link between thyroid levels and B12 levels.
Sorry it's all so scary for you but all you can do at the moment is really try to find out as much from your GP as possible - it may be a stressful time as there may be need for more testing etc. The best I can really do is suggest that you think about finding some coping strategies that work for you.
Do you have the results that indicated you may be Hyper ? Docs often over re-act to a low in range TSH. Was your FT3 over range ? Do you have Hashimotos ? How long have you had a thyroid issue ? Could it have affected your kidneys ?
