Is it MS or b12 deficiency

I am very confused. What is the difference between multiple sclerosis and pernicious anaemia.

The symptoms and the damage that can be done by either appears to be the same. What differentiates b12 deficiency from Ms?

What makes it even more confusing is the fact that I have been told by a health professional that you can have MS running concurrently with pernicious anaemia.

Some symptoms of both overlap, making diagnosis difficult. And there does seem to be a greater incidence of B12 deficiency in those with MS. Some people have suggested a causal relationship, although nobody seems sure as to which causes the other.

You need to see a neurologist. They might well order an MRI scan as there are some fine details that seem to be different in the two conditions.
