Nerve Pain

[B12injections]

I have B12 deficiency and have injections 3monthly. I have severe nerve pains in legs and teeth. Pains in my legs feel like I'm being ripped with a knife... Also all the nerves in my teeth are alive and can't eat this happens few times a day. I take VIt D as I don't get out of the house it has helped slightly.

Hi there. How long have you been having nerve pain in your legs ? Are the shots helping at all?

Hi probably over a a year this was prior to my diagnosis. Yes it's gets a bit better after my B12 injection. I've had a brain scan also as I lost some memory. Scan was clear.

Do you have neuropathy from this deficiency? Or are the pains from something else?

You need to see a neurologist. It's impossible to diagnose nerve pain over the internet.

are these symptoms that resolve for a while when you have a B12 injection and then come back. If so then you probably need injections more frequently. If not then the pains are probably caused by something else.
