Potassium

I just started cyan injections. ( I can't take methyl, the doctors wont prescribe me any shots and I can only get shots from canada in the form of cyan) And have been experiencing the worst fatigue. I ate a banana earlier and some dried mango and my brain fog is a little better. I still have heavy eye lids, though. My stomach is still messed up, stomach gas and pains. I always have an issue with potassium where its too low anyway. How do you raise it without taking a supplement?

have you tried speaking to a nutritionist or a pharmacist and see what they recommend.

Generally potassium is only an issue for PA patients when correcting anaemia.

The symptoms you mention also overlap with a number of other conditions such as diabetes and thyroid - have these been ruled out?

My glucose after 2 hours, if I get shaky, is usually 74. I also have orthostatic hypotension. Thyroid was checked but was normal I think 3 something

TSH tends not to tell the whole story but that's more for the folks on the TUK forum - similar problems to using serum B12 to evaluate B12 deficiency.

blood glucose result looks normal.

Some people on a hypoglycemia fb told me 74 can be low for some people and cause symptoms. That's why I've been wanting to get the glucose tolerance test but my doctor told me its a useless test and dismissed it

High potassium foods, one of which is a banana a day.,,.,you don’t need much but if you feel you need more you can take high potassium foods.

Just google high potassium foods.

(I don’t know if you can have an absorbtion problem with potassium if you have PA or B12 absorption problem) I’m usually fine if I add a banana a day to my diet.

You should check with doctor if you can take high potassium foods just incase of other conditions or meds you’re on.
