Numbing Sensation

Does anyone know why even though I am recovering I've constantly got a numbing sensation in all my muscles? It seems like the colder I am the less the numbing feeling and the hotter I am, especially after doing activities I become really numb and I can feel my body giving off heat, especially where there is exposed skin on my hands and head.

My forehead feels like someone is gripping my head with their hands and only slightly applying pressure but enough that I can feel it and it doesn't seem to go away.

I'm looking into any food types which might contain stuff that will remove this feeling.

The forehead feeling you describe I get. Sometimes like a metal cage has been put over my head but it's too tight. Also scalp hyper sensitivery at times even brushing my hair. Numbness alternating with pain crinching feeling

Usually goes with sizzling in my head. Mine is worse when trying to read or simply use my eyes for close up. I use Aloe Vera gel mixed with lavender to help prevent headaches. I put mine down your damaged myelin sheath on nerves which are very slow to heal with b12. It is possible though

I've tried pushing through and this results in headaches or migrain. I have to sit quietly on and off with my eyes shut. Really difficult

It was really bad over a year ago I would get under my covers on the couch with a sheet over me in my clothes just watching television and my legs felt so numb I lost all sensation and feeling, I would stab my thigh with a pen just so I could feel something.

Oh that's sounds horrid. I can't even watch TV as sets my head off. Very hard time know what to do when like this.

I've been trying to find some food which will reduce the numbing sensation I'm constantly experiencing.

I have this too but my PA was undiagnosed for so long that I have irrepairable nerve damage and brain auras due to untreated thyroid tumours.

I also have ankylosing Spondylitis and ruptured discs so the loss of feeling is made worse by that. I suffer severe migraine and eye migraine too.

The NHS is trying to get me to last 8 weeks in between my injections but I was struggling to get to six weeks!

The numbing is scary as you never know when it’s coming to you?

I also find I can’t tell if water or dishes is very hot or cold so Im always burning myself.

Any damage you had prior to your loading dose will not repair, you do know that ?

Your injections will only prevent further damage.

My numbing sensation doesn't come and go it is constantly happening. It just varies at the moment of writing this it's around 8pm so as I become more fatigued the feeling will multiply. I'm not sure what is causing it I just want the feeling to less over time.

Oh were you told no repair possible? I was told possible but demyelination repair is very very slow. I'm sorry to hear you burn yourself. My remaining symptoms are all in the brain. The numbing and sensitivity to noise and light very difficult. Headaches /migrains at times . The numbing has improved as used to be all over my face and in my mouth like anesthetic wearing off after the dentist. So i had to be careful with hot drinks. It only goes as far as my nose now when talking at times espequally on the phone so that goodness for texts! Take care

I'm going to my doctor tomorrow to find out if I can be tested for nerve damage.
