I think they are asking for the strength of the solution and the volume being taken but think you need to provide a bit of information about exactly what the question was.
So, you can get B12 in different strengths - 1mg/L, 500mcg/L 2mg/L
You will need 1 ml of the 1mg/L solution to get 1mg of B12
You will need 2 ml of the 500mcg/L solution to get 1 mg of B12
You will need 0.5 ml of the 2mg/L solution to get 1 mg of B12
