I've been taking b12 spray, 1200mcg a day, for the past 2 weeks as my levels were at the lower end of normal. In the last week I have been suffering quite severe, pretty much constant, dizziness. Also headaches at the back of the head and pain in the neck and shoulders. Anyone else had these symptoms on the spray? I'm going to stop taking it to see if that makes a difference. I just wondered if this was a common side effect.
Thanks.

Quite a few people have reported bad side effects with methylcobalamin. When I tried injecting it I had a terrible sense of dread and irritability. Quite difficult to describe.
The spray did nothing to (or for) me. I presume it's because none was absorbed.
Hi Awil Personally I have used a Methylcobamalin "Boost" spray daily for over two years and have suffered no adverse side effects and it has raised my serum level so some of it is "getting through", but that's not to say it's the same for everyone else.
Do as you yourself suggest and leave off for a couple of weeks and see if the pains and dizziness goes away. If they don't something else may be the cause.
I used the spray regularly to help my levels , until I got my GP to agree to more frequent injections. I never had any ill effects. Is it possible that you are suffering from a virus?
I had something similar a few weeks ago, achy like flu, but no cold symptoms, and a very weird dizzy feeling. It eventually went away, but was very unpleasant while it lasted. My neck and shoulders were particularly painful, and I had headaches too.
