Are MMA lab results affected by loading doses?

I had been taking B 12 injections starting June 1, 2018. I had one June 1, June 13, July 5, July 13, July 22, July 31, and took the MMA test in Mid August I think. Could these injections have produced faulty results? My MMA was normal, 95. They say the lower the score the better. I think I took the injections correctly and not more than i should have. I don't have the bottle anymore so maybe I didn't follow directions. Honestly I don't remember how often I was supposed to take them because I threw the bottle out. If I took more than I should have, them That's my fault. Not my physcican's.

Dianewilson...you don't give the reference range but if they say the MMA is within normal limits, then it is....and it's okay. Within normal limits means that the B12 is being processed properly in your body and getting to the cells where it's needed (I.e. you do not have a functional B12 deficiency).

You can't overdose on vitamin B12, it's not toxic, addictive, or dangerous.

We all tend to have different symptoms and react differently to treatment - some need more frequent injections than others (especially if neurolgical symptoms are present). The idea is to inject frequently enough to effect recovery / keep symptoms at bay.

👍

Your right. Let me get the estimates for a MMA range. I'm close to the low end. The lowest optimal end you can be. The lower the better they say. I'll follow up on this comment. Thanks
