Diagnosed as b12 deficient 6 years ago most of the original symptoms have gone altogether or reduced in severity. However, on a number of occasions I get pressure in the front part of my brain ( is this what is called pressure headaches - I always think of headaches as painful but mine are simply pressure) during which I can get fairly confused - this morning I forgot the name of Peroni a beer which I drink whenever I am out.
Anyone else suffer this type of symptom?
Hope the New Year brings new hope and improvements in health to you all.

I've had these symptoms sometime like a pressure on top of my head, sometimes on the forehead which at times numbs my nose and cheek bones. Very odd sensation . It doesn't effect my thinking though just seems to send me in a trance .It isn't painful like some of the awful headaches that go on all day. I'm new to all this and exhaustion and vision down and light sensitivity seem to be lingering the most.
Yes the headaches were the worst symptom for me and lasted the longest. I still get them occasionally but not nearly as often or as bad as they were. I was on the couch for days with a heating pad on my head. It was the only thing that made it feel slightly better. And the brain fog was there as well with the headaches.
Thank you for your response. I looked up nominal aphasia which seems to be what I was describing. Before I was diagnosed six years ago I could hardly finish sentences for want of a word - mostly nouns - and I still suffer from this (hence forgetting the name of Peroni beer) but I am nowhere nearly as bad as I used to be so I hope that I am getting better but it is a slow old road that I (we) travel.
Yes, you start to experience improvements slowly. My migraines/ headaches reduced in frequency and severity fairly quick, in just a few months. Other symptoms took a lot longer, but most improved and I can retain information, work, travel and be relied on again. I don’t need any heavy medication anymore, just an occasional paracetamol/ ibuprofen tablet. I keep a healthy diet, I know my migraine triggers and exercise regularly, walking and weights, nothing so strenuous that it triggers a migraine. I can relapse when I delay having my injection and/ or mess about with my diet. It’s easy to forget if you feel alright/ normal.
