Hi just thought would start a post about this. Anyone take folinic acid? I've been struggling with tolerating both folic acid and methylfolate but definitely need a supplement of something. I am going to try out a lower dose of the folic first but just looking into other options. I don't know anything about this one. Just looking into this as an option and wondered if anyone uses it and can give me a bit of advice.

Try eating vegetables and fruit which are high in Folate Littledancingtiger
There should be very little difference in the fuctioning of folic acid and folinic acid. Both are easily converted to tetrahydrofolate in the cell.
I suppose it is possible that the two might have different effects on the gut when taken orally. But I’d be surprised.
