Breathlessness after eating.

Does anyone on the forum experience breathlessness after eating. I'm finding this really unpleasant.

I certainly find that I suffer more breathlessness after a meal.

suspect it is because the lack of stomach acidity means that the stomach isn't operating as efficiently and it's probably impacting on how much my diaphragm can expand to draw air into my longs.

Do you have any other digestive issues.

Yep. Have had reflux. Back on meds for that unfortunately.

Had my b12 injection yesterday and the breathlessness after eating is so much better, in fact the breathlessness is much better today. Does that make sense to you?

Me too. I have awful digestive issues and I'm often left weak after eating and gasping for breath. This Is a recorded symptom of gastritis. Gambit62 also told me That the breathlessness can be due to autonomic dysfunction which ties in with my symptoms.

not sure that it entirely makes sense if it is specifically related to eating though possible that if nerve signals related to the autonomic system are involved that the B12 could resolve an issue there.
