I've had a rash of bumps a bit like acne on my neck and chin and around hairline.I don't normally suffer from spots. It can be a side effect of injections. I've had Hydroxocobalamin.
I've only had loading dose and they appeared on the day of the 6th one.
Not sure if this helps you as opposite if you due rather than overloaded??

Hi Nackapan a wiser person than I has commented previously:
"The pimples/acne, is likely to be caused by microbes on your skin reacting to the additional B12 by producing substances that your skin is then reacting to. In theory this could be resolved by use of a good skin wash. You might have better luck talking to your pharmacist and seeing what they can recommend prior to your next maintenance shot - though there is always a chance that it was something that won't recur."
Yes a lot of people do get them as a result of the injections. It doesn’t mean yourdue, it rather happens when you have plenty of B12 in your system. They do clear up. I had them for about 6 months quite bad around the forehead area.
Creams and face wash only help to a certain extent but they should vlear up in time. A lot of people have them when starting injections.
There’s a cream Duoac which the doctor can prescribe, nothing else helped much.Clearasil Ultra helps some people but not everyone which you can buy but best to try one product at a time. I would try thrClearasil ultra first and if it doesn’t work get doctor to prescribe Duoac. (Quite painful bumpy spots). Avoid using scrubs for spots.
