Sublinguals

I’m currently taking 3000mcg sublinguals 2x/day in between my monthly injections. The lozenges generally dissolve very quickly and I end up accidentally swallowing most of it sometimes because I have lots of saliva. Is it ok if I took a 3rd lozenge in a day if I felt I swallowed too soon?

Yes , it’s OK . You cannot overdose on B12 .

Did you consult your GP befor taking? Where did you buy them? I have PA and the 3 monthly injections are not suffiecient for me. I have little or no energy and no longer work,

Then you should either ask your GP for extra injections , or failing that , self inject with Hydroxocobalamin ampoules obtainable from certain German online pharmacies (not expensive ) . Betterdayz is taking sub- lingual tablets obtainable from Amazon.uk . These do not work for many PA patients who need injections .

no problem doing it but it might be unnecessary - on average there isn't much difference between passive absorption from just swallowing and using sublingual (just over 1% to just under 1% of the dose).
