Hi All

Found this brilliant little food and nutrients counter, so though I'd share it.

It will calculate the precise content of...well...almost anything. Macro nutrients (food energy, protein, carbs, fat, fibre), vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids.

Particularly useful for anyone who wants to monitor potassium intake πŸ˜‰πŸ˜€.

P.s. Going to put this in the pinned posts section so that it's easily available for future reference.

Wow! Foggyme I must remember to add Ostrich for B12 to my wife's shopping list. :)

It'll make a change from raw liver if Gill can run fast enough.

Haven't noticed it for a while, but Ostrich certainly used to be a regular "special" at Lidl. :-)

It was - as was Roo ! I remember we had the family over one October half-term. They are a bunch of coeliacs - you should have seen their faces when they saw the pile of cous-cous :-) They thought it would be banned until they discovered it was cauliflower cous-cous ! Then they had to guess the meat in the casserole - they were so surprised to discover it was kangaroo ! We are constantly reminded of their Roo experience !

It tasted like venison - scrummy ! No longer available ... Having grown up on a farm with Red Deer roaming I was so fortunate to have tasted venison at a very young age !
