Hope everyone is as well as can be😜

Just been checking my Medical record online and going through one letter my doctor wrote to I can’t remember who at this moment.Any way I noticed doctor ad put to ? That I was positive for intrinsic factor antibodies not sure what it is perhaps you kind people will know.

Any how I just thought I’d let you kind folks know that I have had my 4th injection now two more to go,am I supposed to feel better yet as I don’t feel any diffence or is it early days yet folks.

You may find it takes a while before you start to feel properly better. It all depends, but a few months is not at all unusual. If you've been deficient for a while, your system is going to take a little time to recover!

Hi spacey1 thanks for ur reply I am hoping for that fingers crossed.

Do you mean your GP had written " ? intrinsic factor antibodies"

This would mean he is querying whether you could have IF antibodies and should be tested.

If so, there should be blood test results following this date and you need to look at those. The IF test is notoriously unreliable though ! If you have positive for the test you definitely have P.A

You could still have PA even if you prove negative.

Good luck with the injections, I hope they give you an improvement soon.

Doctor wrote a note to consultant and she mentioned in letter that I was positive for intrinsic factor antibodies.i have ad a look online about it but then I forget what I see and read it just doesn’t sink in my brain I’ve a memory worse than a gold fish lol.

I don’t read newspapers or books any more because it doesn’t sink in my head talk about brain dead.I also have double vision,blurred vision.
