Hi - I’ve already had excellent advice and support from this community - being a newbie I’m still trying to read and research as much as possible. I am struggling at week 6 knowing I have another 6 to go before next injection so off to docs tomorrow armed with new knowledge and hoping he will allow me a sooner injection.

I understand that a good vitamin b complex is a good idea and I have found one with folate levels of 400 and b6 of 10. Does anyone have any views on this ?

I’m a single mother and have to work otherwise no income - I know there are many people far worse off than me with regards symptoms and neurological damage already done, but I don’t feel good at all and am starting to become anxious that I may not be able to continue working so may consider self injecting if so.

I just want to say I’m so glad I found you guys. Feel pretty alone with this right now!

Can you take someone with you who knows how you are struggling with your symptoms as your doctor is less likely to pooh pooh you in front of a witness.

Hi I just sent a reply but it seems to have disappeared! Just to say thank you and I was very very lucky as I had a new registrar who was very empathic and open minded and said he had no problem with me having the injection at the surgery more often so I am having it done in a minute. What a pity more docs aren’t as open minded and curious as the younger fresh out of med school ones seem to be!
