I have had PA since the 90's. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced aches a lot and bones hurting.

Jeepnana. Those with pernicious anaemia tend to have absorption problems which can impact on the absorption of other vitamins and minerals too.

So, whilst aches and bone pains can be associated with B12 deficiency, they can also be associated with other deficiencies too.

Bone pain, in particular, is associated with low vitamin D.

If you haven't had you vitamin D, Folate and ferritin levels checked recently, good idea to do so (those with PA ought to have annual checks, but in the UK GPs rarely do this unless they're asked to do so - or there's a problem). If you could get them to check magnesium too...

And I'm assuming that you're having frequent enough B12 injections to keep you well and symtpoms free?

👍
