I am confused by that article because they say they used data from non-neurological autoimmune diseases to reach their findings. The breakdown of myelin sheath results in neurological problems, so I don't see the logic in grouping B12 deficiency with the other datasets.

Megaloblastic madness has been a known side effect of B12 deficiency for decades and onset of it is one of ways to establish that blood cells are enlarged due to B12 deficiency rather than folate deficiency.

For cryin' out loud, the psychosis that stems from a lack of B12 has it's own name. The idea that it's a more common symptom in PA sufferers is kind of a given conclusion at this point.

Had a chat with my neurologist this afternoon and mentioned this research. He said that psychosis is a known consequence of autoimmune meningitis and that it’s common for people with one AI disease to also have others.
