Hello, six month earlier I had my B12 2900 while I was supplementing with B12. Yesterday I had my B12 results 1950, still too high. I've been told that this can be due to kidney or liver malfunction. Any idea?
Note: I used to take B12 as I was told I may have RLS (restless leg syndrome) and supplementing with B12 may help getting rid of the RLS symptoms.

whilst kidney and liver conditions can result in elevated B12 levels - the most likely explanation is the supplementation. Unfortunately some people to respond to high serum B12 by making the mechanism that allows B12 to pass into their cells less efficient - and it also seems to slow down the rate at which 'excess' B12 is removed.
One of the symptoms of B12 deficiency is, indeed, restless legs but B12 would only help with restless legs syndrome if B12 was the cause. There are a lot of other things that can cause restless legs syndrome.
Think it is more likely that the high levels are due to the earlier supplementation but you could ask for a liver and kidney panel to rule out those possibilities.
