Feel really unwell

Hi everyone. It's a long time since I was on here. Hope you are all getting on well. I wasn't too bad with the help of B12 patches until last week when I got a cold. This whole week it's been awful...No energy, tingly, just really unwell. Sweats, bad nausea ect. Putting on more patches gives temporary relief up to a point but they aren't enough. My doctor emphatically refuses to give me more injections. Now after reaching a place of desperation I am seriously considering buying the injections ect and self injecting. Can someone please tell me where it's safe to buy from? Can we get them in the UK? Thankyou.

You can only get anything injectable with a prescription in the U.K. You can get B12 ampoules from online chemists in Germany .Only trouble is

,it’s difficult to find one with a site in the English language . Many people on this forum used to use Versandapo.de , but it’s just changed hands and doesn’t have a site in English . Also I’ve noticed it’s always running out of B12 ampoules . “Mycare.de in English” does have B12 ampoules. , and ships to the UK . You need to decide if you want 1mg x 1ml ampoules or 1mg x 2ml. .“Rotexmedica B12 depot ampoules “ are the 1mg x 1ml ( I use those - less liquid to inject ) “ Hevert B12 depot ampoules “ are 1mg x 2ml . You can also obtain both of these from” Amazon.de in English .” ( German Amazon in English language ) It is absolutely safe to buy from the mentioned sites . Rotexmedica and Hevert are both reliable manufacturing chemists controlled and inspected by the German Health authorities . Needles , syringes, sharp boxes and swabs easily obtainable in the U.K.

Unfortunately just can't afford the cost of shipping. It was going to be either €17 or £17 to get a packet of 10. I am a pensioner so not possible to get them. I have started a petition today hoping to get enough signatures to get to Downing street. It needs people to share it by E- mail because I no longer have Facebook. Hopefully we can make a difference for a huge number of people. ☺

Yes €17.00 is really too expensive . Versandapo.de charge €9.00 to U.K. by courier , but their site is only in German . If you know how to use the translation facilities , you could order with them . I’ve never heard of this PA group where you can order B12 so cheaply. I’m sure we would all be interested if we could join it .

Hopefully get it sorted today. Not been at all well and should have left it until my brain improved or someone to help me. Will try to let you know when it's properly up and running. ☺

HI Margaret-S - I've been reading all the posts about the terrible amount of trouble UK residents have in obtaining B12 ampoules (I'm in Australia and we can get them over the counter at any pharmacy). I just cannot understand it. Iron tablets are available over the counter in the UK, are they not?

Good on you for starting a petition. Have you also thought about contacting a news outlet to do an expose on this issue? It might be timely in that you've just started your petition. Just a thought.

Good luck with the petition. It's a much needed change that needs to happen now!

Thankyou Designer8. I feel that I have to try and get as much into the open as possible because it's so wrong and cruel that people are suffering needlessly because neither the Government or many in the medical profession won't have the moral courage and compassion to do something . I will be sharing the link but don't know if it's ok to share it on here. Thankyou so much for your encouragement ☺

Sorry to hear your unwell , it’s awfull your GP won’t give you the treatment you need . I inject my OH weekly , I wish you all the best with SI , I use the orange needles to inject my husband , 1 inch 25 gauge as they are thinner , good luck . P.s revive clinics give b12 injections for £29 . While your waiting for supplies ; expensive but could help you feel better .

I believe there’s already a petition with about 70,000 signatures at the moment.

I don’t know if this is the right link.

Thankyou Ryaan. I didn't know about this one. Will cancel the one I set up. How long has this one been going?

Sorry, I don’t know how long but I gave you the link. About 60,000 signatories when I last checked. I don’t know what the target number is before they can do something or forward it. I don’t know how long these things take even when it’s been forwarded......I guess it’s not a quick process.

Sorry for the late reply.

Thankyou..you gave me the link and I have signed it. Not sure of target numbers or how long it will take, but we can try to find out. It may be that the Health minister would look at with the over 60,000 signatures that is there. It would be wonderful if they would also re-assess the guidelines too. Here's hoping for things to speed up. 🌞
