Going forward with B12 deficiency

Hi everyone!

I’m so glad I have found this community, it’s easy to feel alone with this condition.

I’ve had a bad couple of days with symptoms returning again, I’ve been feeling dizzy, weak, fatigued and tearful along with bran fog! Classic symptoms I’ve has before. It’s really interesting to hear that other people are suffering from anxiety relating to B12, I’ve always been an anxious person and I’m wondering if this is another symptom.

From my research I’ve now ordered my own vitamin B12 injections so that I can self inject, I may even try this every 4 weeks as it’s been roughly that time since my last. Also I have ordered folic acid to add to my current iron tablets.

Are there anymore suggestions? :D

Thank you x

no suggestions - just a recommendation that you take proper medical advice on supplements, or at least find out what the downsides are and make an informed decisions.

To be honest I would say that a pharmacist is generally going to be more informed when it comes to minerals and vitamins (and potential interactions with any other medication that you may be taking) than a GP

A broad spectrum multivitamin and mineral supplement is a good starting point and some people find a diet rich in potassium and magnesium is useful too.

You can Google these to find a list of things you will like.
