Hi just wondered if anyone gets really sweaty like drenched in the day, and at night I wake up absolutely soaked . It seems to happen two weeks before my jabs has anyone else had this.

When I had an overactive thyroid I was generally too hot and probably sweaty with the least exertion. When I first started going through the menopause I had hot flushes which made me hot and sweaty. Both of these are now under control so I don’t have these symptoms any longer.

You sound menopausal, u don't say how young or old u r , I was 35 when it all started and now 70, but still get them occasionally, only been on b12 for 5 months now, so can't say if its improved the flushes and sweats, the summer will tell. All the best Patricia 2710

Hi. My daughter who was diagnosed with B12 deficiency last year has the same heat regulation problem as you. Since having the loading and a three monthly jab, she has struggled with this being one of the many horrible symptoms she has. She had the basic thyroid screen done as part of investigations and was told this was fine. I am thinking that this is a neurological symptom. She has awful breathlessness and gets absolutely drenched with sweat. This is all over her body. She is wet and shivers with cold. It's like the body cannot regulate the temperature. I have taken her temperature different times and it is only slightly raised. We are still waiting for the Neuro apt in May and hope for answers. Please ask for a referrel if you have Neuro symptoms and the jabs don't help. Good luck.

I was sweating heavily when I was low in folate but since taken a tablet every morning, I no longer experience it.
