Out of breath is worse after eating

Hello All,

My B12 was low so I have been receiving shots weekly. I've had a total of 5 shots over 6 weeks. I'm feeling fatigued and out of breath most the time but especially 5-6 days after my shot. Seems I've read ppl get loading shots over a couple weeks. My doc didn't do that. I've tested negative for IF , have not found a cause for deficiency yet. I had levels checked but believe they will be skewed as it was couple days after my shot was given. I will say that my mental fatigue is much better now. Before the shots I was in bad shape.

protocols vary from country to country in relation to loading shots. In the US it tends to be weekly for a few weeks then every other week then monthly.

testing negative for IF doesn't rule out PA - long way from it as the test gives false negatives 40-60% of the time depending on the test method.

Sounds like what you really need is shots every 5-6 days rather than every week anyway. You could try supplementing with high dose oral to keep your levels up and see if that works - best to start just after a shot;
