Hallo, everyone, I am 58 years old man.

I have neuropathy because of B12 deficiency-50 pg-ml at the beginning of 2017.

Still now I have pins and needles all the time and I feel tired. I have used around 100 shots of Hydroxocobalamin and have a little progress. Do I need to inject 2 times a week. Now my level is more than 2000.

Thank you very much.

Are you supplementing with folic acid and a daily multivitamin?

B complex every day.

Thanks.

svetlozartenov, serum B12 isn't a test that can be used to manage B12 levels - you should be going by what is happening with your symptoms - so if your symptoms subside a little bit after a shot and then come back before the next one that means that you need the shots more frequently.

There is no known toxicity from B12 - in fact hydroxocobalamin is used as the treatment of choice for cyanide poisoning because of the lack of toxicity - and the dose is 5000x the amount you are using injected intravenously with a repeat after 30 minutes if necessary.

I inject when I start getting difficulties going up the stairs. My brain wants to but my legs all of the sudden just won't find the strength for some reason, although I go to gym 1-2 times a week for muscle strength training. Also when my migraines come back, I know I am running low. I try to inject only once a month but that is stretching it, I have sometimes injected twice in a month. People on here will tell you they need to inject much more often to keep ticking over. You have to find your way to do this. Don't forget to monitor vitamin B9/Folic acid, they all work in tandem. Clivealive will tell you about this much better then me.
