Weightgain???

Did anyone gain weight and have trouble losing weight during the years before diagnosis and lost weight once B was restored?

No, but i may be experincing the oppisite... been PA all my life, and always been 6-7 stone despretaley trying to gain whieght (i should be 9 -10 docs say) now im on a much more regular and better dose ove stopped at 8 - 8.5 and even have a little belly developing (maybe my gastly rivs will disappear) but i geuss there must be some corrilation between PA treatmebt and wieght/digestion... or maybe its just because its fixed my lifelong IBS (well none food effected IBS if that makes sense)

Hmm. Im on hrt and think that may be culprit of weight gain.

Short answer.....yes.

I gained before diagnosis of b12 deficiency.(Approx 2 stones). From 11.5 to 13.5 stones.

After going on injections I lost that excess weight without. I don’t know if that was due to increased activity due to increase in energy levels, but no exercise or major diet change.

Sorry for the mistake, I meant without exercise or diet change. I’m sure it’s something to do with B12.

I posted a question on here about B12 and weight loss about a year ago.
