B12 spray and amylase

Hello all,

I heard the other day from a paediatric doctor in sick kids that b12 are no use for children due to the High concentration of amylase in their mouths.

Does anyone know if this is true as I can’t find anything on it?

Sounds like poppycock and/or balderdash to me. Why an enzyme that breaks down starch should have any effect on B12 eludes me.
