I have Hashimoto and three months ago asked for advice on the thyroid community regarding my persistent symptoms and lack of medical support.
Following their advice to increase my Levothyroxine dosage and follow a gluten-free diet, I have started ro feel much better. It seems however that in regards to nutrients however I am still B12 and folate deficient. I recently did some blood tests privately and the advice was to follow this up with additional tests. I attached my most recebt results and would appreciate any advice as to how to supplement this and whether any additional testing really is necessary. I have an appointment tomorrow with my GP and would like to follow this up with her.
By the way, my Vitamin D level is also low. It had been tested in August and it was 17.2 (30 - 100 range).
Thanks for any and all advice!

You seem to have multiple vitamin and mineral deficiencies - and your B12 is extremely low. GP may want to do tests again to check on that but would suggest that you go armed with a list of symptoms (even though they overlap with thyroid), ask for loading doses, tablets for the folate (start 24 hours after first B12 shot) and ask if they can follow up on possible causes of deficiencies - not worth doing coeliacs if you are gluten free - but PA, h pylori, evaluate drugs you are on ....
note: test for PA is prone to false negatives 40-60% of time so a negative is a long way from ruling out PA as cause of deficiency.
