Hello everyone! I've got PA and have been self injecting methyl (Oxford Sciences) every other day for the past 4 months. Four days ago I decided to change it to hydroxo (from Germany) after reading some posts here and some information I've got from the Research Group (Netherlands). After the first shot I noticed pain on my hands (all joints) and the next day some of my fingers were swollen. After the second shot these symptons worsened.
Does any of you had similar symptoms? Do they disappear after a while? Does anyone recommend I should go bach to methyl?
Thank you! By the way, I also supplement methylfolate daily (1000mg), my levels of folate and ferritin are within the normal ranges.

Thank you for your reply, Gambit! Yes, I was using saline with Methyl. I also decided to give hydroxo a try because I still have a burning sensation, specially upon my feet.
All hydroxocobalamin preparations for injection will be made up in saline - plus something to keep it at the correct pH. That's normally acetic or hydrochloric acid.
