Self Injection

Hi Everyone,

As requested by my GP I have just let the practice nurse watch me do my first self injection, I was in and out in the shake of a lambs tail with a pat on the back from the nurse. Thanks to all on here for your support, so glad I have made the decision to get on with it myself.

I can't see any replies so I'll be the first to congratulate you on a successful SI...

I hope that you continue to do well and have no issues with self injecting

Personally I'm going to have to get my district nurses to come out every other day (IF I can get them to agree to start giving me the medication I desperately need again!) because I no longer have the muscle strength to break my skin, never mind inject a muscle, also with my spasms I could end up getting it in someone's eye!

(that was a pun on a particular sketch show, I'm not exaggerating for any other reason than humour! )
