Self Injection

Hi Everyone,

As requested by my GP I have just let the practice nurse watch me do my first self injection, I was in and out in the shake of a lambs tail with a pat on the back from the nurse. Thanks to all on here for your support, so glad I have made the decision to get on with it myself.

Best wishes to you all.

I can't see any replies so I'll be the first to congratulate you on a successful SI...

I hope that you continue to do well and have no issues with self injecting :D

Personally I'm going to have to get my district nurses to come out every other day (IF I can get them to agree to start giving me the medication I desperately need again!) because I no longer have the muscle strength to break my skin, never mind inject a muscle, also with my spasms I could end up getting it in someone's eye! :D

(that was a pun on a particular sketch show, I'm not exaggerating for any other reason than humour! :) )

Well done, pitney - stick around though, I might need some lessons soon myself !

And Grannyweatherwax - good to hear you're still laughing despite countless problems.

Best of luck to both of you.
