Is there a magic dictionary for abbreviations?

I know this sounds stupid but having just started out on the long road to enlightenment, I feel I have to learn a new language! Could any of you point me in the direction of some links that will explain the meaning of some these abbreviations that are commonly used on these forums.

Many thanks

That's impressive.

Any chance of it being pinned (assuming Helvella is OK with that)?

Fbirder,

It is pinned on TUK. Perhaps Foggyme can pin it in PASoc.

You are welcome. Definitely slanted towards a thyroid view of the world.

I have several papers available here:

Could you use this link:

The original is likely to stop working - for various reasons, I have had to change it. While it works, it works, but any updates will only be to the version pointed at by the new link.

Definitely doesn't sound stupid! I was exactly the same when I first came on here. Absolutely brilliant forum, you couldn't find a better place for support and understanding, but yes a key to the acronyms would be helpful!
