Hi guys. I have injections every 12 weeks and it's not frequent enough. I have asked my doctor for them to be more frequent but he refuses. Where's the best place to buy B12 please?

you can source, assuming you are UK based, quite easily from german on-line pharamcies and even from amazon.de - pharmacies include versando.de and mycare.de.

You may also be able to source through B12d.org but if you do please make a donation to cover the costs,

suggest that you register with B12d.org

in UK treatment is with 1mg (1000mcg) hydroxocobalamin so suggest you search for that if looking at a german pharmacy

Try googling " versandapo.de in English " and the German online pharmacy will come up ready translated. Once on the site search for " vitamin B12 depot " The choice will appear . I use 1mg/1ml Rotexmedica Hydroxocobalamin . You can buy 100 (cheapest option ) and multiples of 10 ampoules .

Everything else you can get from Amazon .

I have just gone down SI route, GP`s have not got ANY knowledge of this disease ( both of mine admitted they did not know enough ).

100 x 1mg rotexmedica b12 depot , about 60 euros plus 8 euro postage, came in less than a week.

From Versando.de

and

2 ml Luer syringe ( B D Plastipak) ref 300185 x 100

21G x 1 1/2" ( 0.8 MM X 40 MM ) BD Microlance ( ref 304432)

for drawing up from ampoule.

and,

23G x 1" (0.6mm x 25mm ) ref 300800 for injecting I.M.

from Medisave in UK

Plenty of youtube vids showing how to self inject, I inject into thigh, its not a nice experience, but not painful unless you a) don`t warm up the ampoule , or b) press the liquid in fast -do it slow and no probs.
