1 down 5 to go!

Well that's my first loading jab done.

It wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting :-)

I did ask the nurse about my low Folate (2.1) and she said this treatment will sort that out too. I am just on the loading doses and levothyroxine then 12 weekly shots, no folic acid.

Hoping this is my miracle cure!!

I'm sorry rachel35a but I think you need to speak to your doctor urgently about your low Folate level as this is essential to process the B12 you are having injected.

What "treatment will sort that out..." was the nurse referring to?

The b12 injection.

When I asked she pointed to it and said this will sort it all out.

I have some weak folic acid that I bought over the counter so I'll start taking some of them Friday after my second jab.

Presumably the "IT" was the B12. There is no Folate in B12.

I suggest you take the folic acid you have now and still talk to yout doctor
