sorry to hear that. Do you know what is causing the blood loss? Presuming it is a blood loss and you are talking about an iron based anaemia.
Although this forum has the title anaemia in it, that is a bit of a misnomer as PA is actually an auto-immune disorder which leads to problems absorbing a particular vitamin - B12. This can cause a particular type of anaemia but not everyone on here is anaemic and although some also have iron based anaemias, many don't.
If you know what has been causing the iron based anaemia then you might be able to find a forum where people understand your particular condition better and can support you better.
Gosh. Poor you. I have chronic iron def Anemia - often severe but have managed to get by on just 2 units this year. Current HB is 74 which is manageable but iron is 5 and ferritin is 3. I suspect my B12 is down too as I have been taking iron for the last 6 weeks but it hasn't had much effect. Hope you can get on top of it soon. Clare x
