Has there ever been a study into how many people self inject due to poor cooperation and frustration from their doctors percentage wise?. Being new to this support and information after getting not very far I wondered what thru outcome had been for the majority.

Having been a member of Pasoc for over six years the number of people having to resort to self injection does not seem to be getting less year by year.
My first question on the then forum was about my difficulty in getting my "one size fits all" GP to agree to my having more frequent injections and the advice back then from members was to look into SI.
I've been fortunate to get an increased frequency but sadly so many others on here are not successful in winning their individual battle in the war against doctors' ignorance about the ramifications of B12 Deficiency and P.A.
I'm also interest to know. But any figures would simply provide the medical profession with more ammunition that many of their patients are hypochondriacs, and that they are doing a splendid job of ignoring us.
