Sorry for all my questions, I'll get there some day but can you tell me if the hydroxocobalamin needs to be kept in the fridge ?
how do I store these: Sorry for all my... - Pernicious Anaemi...
how do I store these
Protecting B12 from light is essential, but I have to admit I'm confused about the need to refrigerate. I have had conflicting advice on this. Hope someone can help!
Hydroxocobalamin needs to be stored in a cool, dark place. The only brand that I have used which specifies an actual temperature is Cobalin-H which says to store below 25 celsius and protect from light.
Like engels says, the stuff from the NHS says to store below 25° C, in the original container, away from light. The stuff I get from Germany says exactly the same, but in German.
I keep my stash in a drawer away from heat or light.
I keep mine away from heat and in a dark place.
My GP surgery keep mine. There is a drawer in the nurses room that holds patients vials. Im kept up to date with how many I have left at each visit. When I get a new box I store it in a cupboard until I take it to the surgery 🐸
