going for my monthly b12 injection, but I have had one from a private doctor inbetween - should I tell my gp? advise please.........
should I tell gp: going for my monthly... - Pernicious Anaemi...
should I tell gp
Difficult one...in an ideal B12 world you should be able to. But in an ideal B12 world, you wouldn't have had to squeeze in a private one!
Hopefully, the responses to your other post (after this one) will help you to make up your mind.
With my GP, I wouldn't dare, but I feel cowardly for that!
Back to that ideal B12 world: wouldn't it be nice if GP's and patents could work together for the good of the patient!
Keep well.
In my case I would... But I wouldn't like to advise you.
See the answers to the above post for other ideas.
Good luck!
It's a dilemma jillc39 but if you can convince your doctor how desperately badly you needed the injection to be driven to spend your own money on the additional injection she may be "moved" to take you seriously and shorten the interval she's prescribed.
I too have my monthly cyanocobalamin injection this morning and "Boy" do I need it!
I think I will have to tell her when I see her on Thursday because although I know I am actually going downhill and needing the B12 I still look a whole lot better than the last time she saw me. That was when she would not give me it earlier and which sent me flying to a private doctor. ooooer!
